The Asus EEE PC 1000HE is powered by an Intel Atom N280 processor clocked at 1.66 GHz, is backed by 1 GB RAM and offers 160 GB of storage space. Its six-cell lithium-polymer battery allows it to run non-stop for around 9.5 hours. It boasts of a near-full-sized keyboard and a LED-backlit 15-inch screen.
Tradition-wise, Asus started the netbook craze. It continues to rule this niche, evident in the success of the Asus Eee PC 1000HE. Asus’ netbooks are known to have a quality build, but it improved 1000HE with regards to its ergonomic design.
